first_img Box ScoreThe University of Toronto Varsity Blues baseball team dropped a 4-3 decision to the Laurier Golden Hawks in the gold-medal game of the 2018 OUA championship on Sunday, October 21 in Ajax, Ont.The Blues got out to an early 2-0 lead thanks to two RBI from Suzuki, driving in Gabriel Nakonechny in the first and third innings. Laurier answered back with one run in the bottom of the fourth and took the lead with two runs in the bottom of the sixth.Toronto forced extra innings as Brandon Hadfield drove in Peter Nash, who was pinch-running for a Joe Woods double, in the top of the ninth.
